EXCITED AND DISAPOINTED !!

Alarm went off at 6:00 am , oh men I was all beat up ,the night before went to bed at 12:00 am after coming back from Tina’s birthday party ,(Mootz wife). Did not rest at all went straight from work take a shower and my wife and I went to the party , well any ways ,6:00 am Saturday morning looking forward to do the Denton TT, I pack wheels and TT bike , when we arrive to the school ,wow I could not believed the parking lot was full ,great turn out , Jimmy Jeff and farang were already there. When I got off the car wow again super freaking windy ,well so much for excitement. Pick mine number and got on the trainer to warm up . Before I started to warm up I get a phone call from Steve dodge he is not going to make it , he is really sick and taking antibiotics I told him to stay home and hang up , warm up for about half hour . Do some hams stretches and headed for the start , when I got to the start little less was starting behind me . 5,4,3,2,1 go . With the tail wind I was doing pretty good , but I made a small mistake , my selection of wheels was bad I used my 100 mm front wheels instead of my 50 mm , I spend a lot of time controlling the bike in the cross wind and when pass by vehicles ,but despite the problems I made it to the turn around in 12 minutes and less caught me right before the turn when we turn wow here we go again that was a wall of wind we stay together for a small amount of time when suddenly get caught by the guy a minute behind me , gee! he was hauling ass . I try to keep a steady pace till the end but the wind and the hills made it tough , I finish in about 32.32 minutes , I got 9th jimmy got 6th and farang 5th . I ask Jeff if he wanted to do the TTT with us, but he denied . I drank some ultra fuel and change my front wheel and they were already calling for the team TT, air the front wheel and hurry to the starting line , with only 3 people ,jimmy, farang and I , 5,4,3,2,1, go , we started pretty good, going smooth and about 40 mph ,made it to the turn in 11 minutes we keep it pretty steady but at the end I started to feel tired and we lost the redom and we fall apart ,100 meters from the finish we get caught by the bike mart guys(Max ,Andrew, Reeves and Gacki) , they went two minutes faster than us , I thing we did great ,we only had 3 people and we did the individual TT, bike mart only did the team TT, I was excited because it was promising , what I saw today , we road pretty awesome we stay together longer and smooth , plus farang awesome team mate ,disappointed on the other hand ,a lot of people did not show up ,I gave away a lot of kits and skin suits for people not to used them or maybe I just gave them away to the wrong persons . I guess no one wants to get in shape! , today exciting day .
