53 X 12 EASTER SUNDAY !

Sunday morning , getting ready for the Sunday morning north ride , the temperature has change from warm to cold in a matter of hours ,stiff wind from the north and I feel like crap from the TT yesterday .8:30 am time to leave , headed down Plano rd to Renner . By hwy 75 I caught up to Mike Steeves standing at the light I road with him to independence and Renner were we meet with a small group of 6 Crawford ,Mootz ,Glanger ,Grant and other guys from Velossimo couple of miles down the road in independence Gonzo caught up with the group , them Fletcher and the group was getting bigger. By hwy 121 I had to speed up ahead for a nature call when I rejoin the group the little guy from Toyota (don’t know his name) start to set the pace hard at that point I was feeling stiff and cold and not feeling well . We were going pretty fast down south Custer rd ,when we turn right on south Stonebridge drive gonzo attacked hard there I was force to close a gap against the wind . By Virginia pkwy we were in the gutter ,strong cross wind and hauling ass , and the guy from Toyota in the front pulling . Velossimo took couple of shots attacking the guy but did not work . Finally we got to I 75 service road , the light before the first sister was red but suddenly we accelerate to the light and I find my self sprinting to catch up and just like that the light change to green . We went of the first sister pretty fast ,we had a tail wind from the north so I use that momentum to carry me over the next two hills and from there on was 53 x 12 all the way back . I was pushing the pace some times pretty hard specially at the end when I took a flyer by the last light when I timed perfect and got a big gap with Garry glanger on my wheel I gave up 100 meters from the line . Them we roll back to Renner were I ride back with Mootz and Mike I made it home about 11:15 . I was glad I ride this morning ,I enjoyed especially with the big Easter tail wind.
